Digital River Renames its element 5 subsidiary to Digital River GmbH

Aligns major global operation centers under one company name

MINNEAPOLIS - Sept. 26, 2006 --Digital River, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRIV), a global leader in e-commerce outsourcing, today announced that it changed the name of its Germany-based subsidiary from element 5 GmbH to Digital River GmbH. The name change now formerly aligns the company’s major global operation centers in Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg and the U.S., under one, unified umbrella – Digital River.
